Prisma Regional Summit in Paraguay

The first  Prisma Regional Summit took place from July 4th to the 7th in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, Clients and members of the Rainbow team shared experiences and knowledge looking for sustainable solutions. The event had the participation of clients, distributors, stakeholders and members of the company from four key markets in the region: Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay and Uruguay. The main objective was to exchange knowledge and experiences, to leverage and consolidate altogether the current state and vision of the future of the agro-business in the region.

The summit started on July 4th with a workshop on the soybean problematics at the convention center at the Marambia hotel in Ciudad del Este. Issues such as weeds, plagues and diseases of the soybean agriculture were addressed, as well as the Rainbow solution program to prevent and fight these problems. Members of the I+D team shared their advances on research, experiences and key findings of the particularities that every country and crop  has in their territories.

“The workshop was leveraged through the knowledge exchange. That was key to conclude how to deliver the best management solutions to these problems and what are the challenges ahead we all need to be ready for.” Quoted Alejandro Crespo, Rainbow’s Regional Latin America Director.

Beside the workshops, the summit included a visit to Agro J.A, a Prisma distributor for the Mbaracayú region, Rogelio Artmann, it’s president, also participated in the 18th Direct Sowing National Encounter, as well as the 1st Worldwide Direct Sowing System Congress, that took place in Foz de Yguazú (Brasil).
